MLB 2019: Chicago Cubs

With the Cubbies I decided to keep things simple once again. The only things that were changed were the word mark for Chicago and the away headwear. The word mark always looked weird to me since their "C" was circular, so I fixed that one. And I have always loved the caps with the red brim. Let me know what the word is.

MLB 2019: Seattle Mariners

So we cap off the AL West with one of the few MLB teams without a World Series title to their name, the Seattle Mariners. I new the Mariners didn't have the consistent lime green/navy Seattle scheme that the Sounders and Seahawks carried out successfully. I almost scrapped everything about their current identity and started fresh. I had an idea for the uniforms but I couldn't get my mind on a good traditional logo. Then I was hit by the Pilots. The Pilots as you guys may or may not know, were Seattle's first MLB side and they had a nautical theme. I used them as inspiration for the entire set. So what do you guys think?

MLB 2019: Cincinnati Reds

For this 145 year old pro ball club, I kept it classy and slick. Nothing too much. I moved the black out because if your'e named after a freaking color I think it should only consist of the color that is the name. And obviously a red jersey for good measure. Let me know what the opinions are!

Club America Redesign

I was watching a Mexican League fixture between America and Cruz Azul two nights ago and I was not pleased by los Aguilas shirts. They looked off. So I did the voodoo that I do and did my best to fix them up. I added the V look of the 80's and fully incorporated it to make a unique identity in world football. Let me know what you think!

UCL: Juventus F.C.

For the Italian champions, I've always liked the yellow manufacturers logo so I brought that back to balance things out. I noticed that Adidas put a bunch of vertical stripes on the home kit this year so I toned it down a little bit. For the away kit just a clean white and nothing crazy. I had a Nike version made because personally I think Nike makes the Old Lady look super slick and classy so I might end up swapping the two later in the series. Let know what you guys think!

MLB 2019: Anaheim Angels

In this universe, Arte Moreno finally gets the picture and set the Halos apart by renaming them the Anaheim Angels once again. I really really really liked their 1969 uniforms and the classic Tuscan font. But the most striking part was the halo that crowned the cap. I brought back the excellence of those bad boys and took off the halo from the cap logo. Throughout the whole redesign I incorporated more navy blue to the team and introduced gold. As you may notice, the primary logo is a redesign of an old Angels logo. I have always seen potential in it but was always to lazy to actually make it. Now you see the cleaned up and modernized version with wings as well. Let me know what you guys think!

MLB 2019: San Jose Athletics

I am alive! Sorry for the long wait high school just started in SoCal so I've been trying to clean a smooth schedule going. But without further ado, the San Jose Athletics!

So my main thing with this team was to make them either the A's or the Athletics, not both. So I chose Athletics and ran with it. I scrapped the A's log and replaced it with a modernized A from the 60's when they were in KC. I also brought back the old all-yellow aways from the KC days as an alternate. The elephant logo was a must to bring back as I wanted to give this team some character. Buts we all know, the current logo looks outdated, there's far too much green, too much detail, and I'm pretty sure elephants aren't green. So I cleaned and simplified up the logo, made the elephant more realistic color-wise, and balanced out the colors between white, green and gold. And that's the new Green Collar baseball. Let me know what you guys think!

UCL: Manchester City F.C.

With Nikes tampering of the teams that they sign and what ever they usually have seemed to be doing, thankfully they haven't done to City. This is one of the few kits that doesn't need saving and is just posted for the sake of you seeing all of the teams. Comments and criticism are appreciated.

MLB 2019: Vancouver Mounties

So here we go with the Mariners new noisy neighbors in the Pacific Northwest and their divisional foes in the Cascadia Series, the Mighty Mounties as they are nicknamed. As I researched and realized they are named for the Canadian national police force, I incorporated a lot of red, white and black in this one. I drew inspiration from the Canadian baseball team and made the logo super traditional (after all they are named for an official force in Canada). I saw their PCL cap logo and i modernized it and saw a V in the M I decided to use, so I fused them! So there you go your first expansion side. Comments and criticism much appreciated as always.

MLB 2019: San Diego Padres

For the boys by the border, I decided to take it way back. I see what they've got going on right now and it's not exactly smooth and looks REALLY inconsistent in my opinion. So, I decided to go back to the brown and yellow like everyone else. However, the vintage inaugural scripts of the side look absolutely amazing. I mean if the team had more success earlier in its existence, that lettering could've been a mainstay in the club identity. So I touched them up and I brought the mid-2000's friar back and fused it with the first primary logo and gave them their first 3 striped socks back. And I also put Kemp as the player on the back because literally 2 hours ago he became the first Padre to hit for the cycle! So congrats Kemp! Comments and criticism very much appreciated.

MLB 2019: San Francisco Giants

So for the world champions of 2015, I have brought their jerseys and logo set back to the 60's with a modern twist.As much as I hate to say it, the Giants are historically one of the best teams and they are in my Premier Five. I fixed the one thing that bugged me the most and that was the inconsistency of the script fonts. Their primary was simplified and you may notice I removed gold. I still am not so sure about that move but maybe you guys can give suggestions on how it looks. I gave them 3 alternates, the orange, the black, and the SF insignia on the left chest. I also fused their old glove in diamond logo with their new Golden Gate Bridge alternate. Comments and criticism are much appreciated.

MLB 2019: Los Angeles Dodgers

MY TEAM!! The Dodgers, even though they are my side, I believe that they are part of the Premier Five baseball teams in the MLB. With that being said, their uniforms are pretty much the same as they have been. They are as classic as the Yanks in my opinion. I liked the old 40's jersey piping however, and I put it on the aways. I also was watching a throwback Athletics vs. Dodgers, I saw the Dodgers old 80's away jersey and being a 2000's kid, I thought it was really rad so I brought it back as the alternate. Comments and criticsm are much appreciated.

MLB 2019: Arizona Diamondbacks

So for this one, I thought that the original logo was to slapped together. So I incorporated the mountains from the 2011 MLB All Star Game logo into the primary. I made red the primary color, sand the second, and black the accent. The alternate logo is the 'DB' snakehead. The jerseys were styled the same way that the 2001-2006 vests were made, but I applied the colors mentioned earlier to the uniform. The scripts are the ones currently used in the Diamondbacks right now. Comments and criticism are much appreciated.

MLB 2019

For my first redesign project, I'm going to do the MLB. This redesign takes place in 2018 MLB season. The league has grown immensely into a superpower, surpassing the NFL in U.S. sports supremacy.

New and welcome changes are made in the next 3 years. New Commissioner, Rob Manfred, solves the dispute over San Jose between the Athletics and the Giants, giving the Giants a AA team in nearby Fremont while he successfully kept the White Elephants in Northern California. They are renamed the San Jose Athletics. The stadium issues in South Florida are solved as well, as the Rays get a sweet new ballpark right on the harbor and fans flood the stadium and the team constantly puts on above average attendance numbers daily.

With these primary issues solved in 2017, Manfred did what he said he'd do in 2015: Expand internationally. Before Spring Training 2017, the MLB announced two new expansion sides to debut in 2019 located in Vancouver and Montreal, Canada. The fans in these cities were ecstatic. The people of Mexico, however were disappointed that they had been denied a side in Monterrey. But the MLB assured the world that Mexico would get at least one side in the next expansion. In 2018, the Vancouver side is named the Vancouver Mounties in honor of the former PCL side. The Montreal side was unsurprisingly and happy named the Expos in honor of the former side that inhabited Montreal.

The MLB also made some new uniform requirements for the 2019 season. All teams were required to have stirrups and they required all teams to show the socks for opening day. The teams traditions and trends moved towards stripped styles of socks as well and 60's jersey styles made their ways onto Major League logos and uniforms in 2019.
